No, not the U2 singer but the sweet delicious dessert from Japan. I was walking with Bits, telling him how much trouble I had trying to locate my favorite dessert from Japan. Only 2 shops sell it in the airport (Narita). I bought 3 boxes back, one to share, one for family and one for self and Bits.
I even told him, unlike the Tokyo Banana that you can get anywhere including here, Bono is notoriously hard to find. To prove my point, I took him to this Asian Sweet Specialty and the next thing you know, that box is staring at me in the face.
Selling at $28.00 for 8 pieces - it's daylight robbery. I won't be buying it anytime soon.
But it rendered my hard work in Japan quite useless. Now it is like the green tea Kit kat, easily obtained here. Why do they have to import it here...argh~
